OK, DR Elmore and other NYC folks - I'm investigating this Encores special event:

The Band Wagon

Insights?

My favorite movie of all time. I don't have any idea what changes they're going to do to the script, except that the lead character is a singer instead of, well, Fred Astaire.

From DR Cilla:
Quote
Wow, and the Missouri river is running very high.  Too high to get the old casino boat downstream without it hitting the bridges on it's way down river

LOL  This isn't a very big lake to begin with and as far as I know it has never run high.

I think Brian Stokes Mitchell is playing the lead.

Apparently, DR ChasSmith intends to leave us hanging with that one.

I'm thinking there is something in there about "horns".

Why yes there is, DR Ron.

So let's end the suspense, shall we?

You see, the bull is the one with the horns up front and the a**hole in the rear.

The director and i aren't fond of each other.  I wonder if she's still being dressed by Frumps R Us.  I love Todd Ellison.

And the Dietz and Schwartz score contains "Dancing in the Dark," "Louisiana Hayride," "Triplets," "New Sun in the Sky," and "That's Entertainment."
