And then a new episode of Giorgio Tsoukalos' "In Search of Ancient Aliens" (the season finale, alas).

I'm glad you are losing weight.  Even if you need surgery it will be helpful as you recover.

Oddly, Keith found the cross trainer was easier than walking or any other exercise.

Yes indeed the Project Wunway from last night is a wonderful example of comeuppance, Karma, and joy.

I've been seeing references to the "Broadway-bound" revival of CAN-CAN that opens this weekend at Papermill Playhouse.  Any insights?

A revisal with changes. See ON THE TOWN instead.

The sailor on the left was Herman in THE MOST HAPPY FELLA.

Yes, indeed!  Happy Birthday FDR DougR.  I believe he last posted in March.  I hope all is well with him.

In less happy news, today's killing by that horrid ISIL group is just awful...well, all of their many killings are awful, but this poor chap killed today did so much to help raise money and risked his own life to help displaced people in Syria.

Just a simple taxi driver with a heart of gold who felt a need to help. There should be more people like him, and he has my utmost respect.

Here is his story of how he got involved and what all he was doing to help: http://www.bbc.com/news/uk-29199086

I really wanted to go on a bike ride today. :(

And I won't get to go tomorrow (because of fasting and it will also be raining).

Did you start a fire under your bed once too often to attract the firemen?

BACK VIBES!!!

Thanks, DR Jane!  I'm about the same and getting a lot of advice from the others in the household who've had the same thing.  I'll give it the weekend and call the doctor if I'm not better by Monday.

My Friday evening will begin with a viewing of last night's "Pwoject Wunway".

I'm given to believe it will be awesomely rewarding.

I'm a week behind in watching.  Still bummed they said "auf Wiedersehen" to Sandhya -- I may be in the minority, but I enjoyed her use of color.

With a Tailor & Seamstress in the family background -- Kini Rocks!

Friday morning greetings!  Yesterday, while making our bed, I bent and reached in a way that caused a back spasm.  Moving quite cautiously today...

Sending well wishes and good vibes to DR Ginny!
