I did the two new lines - about health care and Michael Riedl.

I'll be able to announce complete casting in a day or two - it's a lot of our LA folk, which I'm really happy about, plus a couple of surprises.

Same thing as last night - woke up ninety minutes after I fell asleep and I'm hoping this is the last time it happens.

Trying to catch up.  I'm thinking after the Oct 15 extended tax deadline, work will be very calm, just about like it was right after April 15.

Good morning, all!

I finally got a good night's sleep, abut nine and a half hours, and that's great. I've got the Round Two Encores! work to begin, and, I think, a visit from our DR ChasSmith around noon.

I have nothing else to report.

BK,

You're watching movies with my former clients in them.

Timothy Scott was in THE PARTY and Sydney Lassick was in the original CARRIE.

I recall visiting the set for THE PARTY a couple of times.  They shot it at the old Goldwyn Studio.

Yes, "The Party" is not a good film, but the couple of good bits in it are still funny to watch-- and still funny to even think about.  Luckily with VCR's and DVD's, we can just watch the parts we want and skip the rest.

Thank you DR Vixmom!

It is so odd when you have something and you don't even realize how much you depend on it (i.e., the long scrapbooking scissors).  I was trying to cut out a typed title. And I was so crooked without the long scissors.

DR John G, I do know MJ, but not well.  She and I were at a mutual friend's tea party back in August, but didn't get a chance to chat one-on-one.

I have never seen any of the Carrie screen incarnations.  I like a few songs from the musical version.

Thank you, Jane, for your concern about my hand yesterday. I did soak it in rubble alcohol to prevent infection. Only one tooth actually broke the skin on the palm side, but I didn't even notice that the small puncture until later. It was the pressure on the back of my hand that hurt so much because there's no padding there, but no punctures. The bruising and swelling has gone way down now and my hand looks fairly normal. It's still sore, but I think that will be gone in a week or so.
