What wild dreams I had last night!

One involved chasing and being chased. There were car chases and guns and time travel.  Whew!

Monday-- Columbus Day.

It is a Federal Holiday.   The City and County work today, because they traded Columbus Day for Cesar Chavez Day (I think).   There is garbage pick-up but no mail delivery.

Superior Court ids open, but the Court of Appeals and District Court are closed.

Very confusing.

Cillaliz, great news on the concert.

Going to the movies on a holiday was a tradition for me, not my family. Maybe it was a way for me to get some privacy. I remember seeing Bergman's Magic Flute on Christmas Day for two or three years running. I may have to take the DVD with me this year.

Good morning, all.

Ah, Monday.  And a holiday for some.  For me, the start of four blessed days off from the show, with just the closing weekend to go.  But there is lots of work to do around here, such as getting a start on blowing and raking the first leaves, and other fall cleanup.

Coffee!

I must also buckle down and learn my RAGTIME book, and get my keyboard reasonably well programmed for the first orchestra rehearsal on Sunday.

I enjoyed the novel Gone Girl. No, it wasn't great literature, but it was a fun read.  Haven't seen the film.

It is a Federal Holiday.

For some of us, it is Columbus Day.  But for some of us, it is Indigenous Peoples Day.

Good morning, all! My cold wanted to keep me in bed this morning, so i canceled therapy, slept late, and I've got to get back to PAINT YOUR WAGON.

That's my day.

I think the new season of "Inspector Lewis" should be renamed to "Inspectors Hathaway...and Lewis".  Lewis is now retired but has come back as a consultant to Inspector Hathaway who is, for all intents and purposes, his boss.

I had to think about how I typed that last bit because I keep reading "for all intensive purposes" on Facebook, when I know what is meant is "intents and purposes."

Tell me, singdaw:  Is your whole name "sing repetition repetition daw"?  Or is there more to it than that?
