I for one do think it is silly to continue celebrating this day & keep expecting it to be dropped.

We have a friend hiking in Spain today. I found this interest.

Just listened to the mastered Sandy in its entirety. Other than one little level nitpick, I think it sounds pretty marvelous. It's mastered a bit lower than our usual soundtracks, but I believe this was done so as to add almost no compression to it, rather than squash it a little to make it louder - so you just have to raise your volume level a db or two from its usual position and all is well. Best thing - the order just works perfectly.

I think he's mad because I said I didn't care if we celebrate Columbus Day because everyone we celebrate has a dark side. I didn't mean to upset him, I was just saying it doesn't bother me. I didn't realize that expressing that opinion would be so offensive to him

Wow, so I'm a terrible person because I don't mind Columbus day. That takes the cake for me. The Indigenous people massacred all but 2 or 3 settlers where I grew up because they were white. They took babies and smashed their skulls against the trees to kill them. I don't have a problem with an Indigenous People Day either. History is ugly on all sides

Darn, I just over baked my pumpkin cranberry cake. I still have to serve it to my book group tomorrow. I hope the larger loaf isn't as dry as the smaller one. I went to get the powdered sugar to sift some on time of the cake & the container is empty. I'm on a roll.

Tonight I'll listen to the Sandy master via my state-of-the-art high end Grado headphones - I really don't want to change anything until I've heard it that way - then I'll know exactly if there are or aren't the two little level differences I think I hear on the computer speakers, which can be deceptive.
