It was 89 degrees here. That's better than yesterday's 96, I guess.

This morning it had church. I was so happy one of the women's circles volunteered for coffeehour as the Vixter and I were both communion assistants and. I was also lay reader and had to give a mission moment at both services.  I didn't realixpze I had to give the mission moment speech until moments before the service began(I thought it was. Next week). So that was kind of interesting

I wish you could get people to volunteer every week to do the coffee hour.  I don't know how you manage to do all of it every Sunday.

I kind of like doing coffee hour I get to talk to everybody. But it is nice to not be required to be there for 5 )hours every Sunday morning

I cleaned out the garage, moved all my outdoor furniture etc into the garage for the winter, did some work at the office, bought a new bird feeder and installed it, cleaned the kitchen and did the laundry.  The washer sort of worked right.  I need to call someone to check on it turning on by itself. In the meantime I'm unplugging it when not in use

The 70s are way above normal for this time of year here.  It's been in the upper 70s all week. The weather man just said we can forget seeing those temps again for a long time.  That's fine with me

I just remember it was awful.  I missed about a week of work and some of my friends started to tease me about it until they looked at me...then it was .."You look terrible"  I said  "Well, I've been sick for a week"  Sheesh!

Last Friday, the young guy I've been helping out stopped by the office.  He said "Are you sick, you look like it"  LOL, I wasn't sick, I was pretty tired.

Yesterday I went to the lake to meet with some people about a project I'm working on...well sort of...anyway, we met at the amusement park and it just happened to be fall festival for little kids from 11-1.  AND my niece just happened to bring her kids and her fiancé  So I got to spend a couple hours with Dash and Pierce.   The rides were free so Sam and I rode the rollercoaster.    Then I went to my meeting

I got the quad flu shot in September.  It thought it was a little early, but I'm hoping it wasn't

I had the flu once. The kids were in preschool, and it was a strain that was hitting young people very hard. All four of us got it. It was horrible. I have had a flu shot every year since. Never want to have the flu again!

Last year they gave me the live-virus sniffy immunization by mistake. So I had that one PLUS a shot.

And you have never had the flu since?

The  Vixfamily three all had the flu back when the Vixter was only about 4 it was a truly miserable experience and we all have gotten the flu shot every year since and have never had the flu since

How was rehearsal, Chas?

I have no idea.  It was fine as another read-through for the orchestra, but we're in a real pit and can see nothing of the stage, so I have no sense of what the production is like.  When I look up toward the stage, it might as well be an opera house or some other huge venue.  I see nothing but lights and a mammoth space. Fortunately, I can go up there Tuesday night when they're running the show with piano, and enjoy sitting out there and seeing it once.
