A study shows that eating dark chocolate can potentially improve your memory by 25%, but you'd have to eat at least seven bars per day.

And I'm like, "So?"

LOL That was also my reaction.  I think the sugar in the bars would counter the good from the chocolate.  I wish I liked my chocolate without the sweet.

Yuck!  Then what would be the point?

Exactly!  I have to be in the mood for dark chocolate...and I'm not in the mood (for dark chocolate ;)) very often.

I am a cross between Ben and TCB, back when I thought my demise was possibly more imminent I gave instructions that there was to be no wake, and that I was to be cremated.  I do want a memorial service in church though... on a weekend or evening  to avoid inconveniencing people

Good for them.  I always figure I'm lucky if the old appliance is carted away when the new one is delivered.  Even luckier was finding someone who wanted the old appliance.

these days with metal recycling all the rage it has become a lot easier ti get it hauled away for free or to be paid for it   there was probably a good amount of copper wiring in that old refrigerator

We have an ongoing  scrap metal drive at church - we used the proceeds for various property projects around the church -  they were very happy to get the old motor from our dryer as it was full of copper  wire (though the chair said he was disappointed I didn't need a new dryer as he had been counting on the entire dryer for the metal drive! )

When you are in to genealogy and visiting grave sites it seems odd to be cremated, but that is what I think we will do.  Either way, we will be together.

Services are for the living and I don't think my family will care if there is one for me.  I would like someone to say Kadish.  I suppose I should let my wishes be known on this one ;D

Now I know what they do with our old machines ;)

Tom, that sucks about the physical. I hope it all works out for you.

Thank you, Ben, it did work out.  I called the health plan that I have for my supplement and they told my doctor's office was crazy.  Physicals are covered 100%.  Now I need to reschedule.

Wish mine were.

Well one person who won't be cremated is my mom.  She has made that VERY clear any time the subject comes up.  I told her not to worry we'll make sure she's put in the ground.

Well I'm considering skipping band and staying home, but I don't think I will.  Actually Callie has been throwing up for the past two days.  We have an appointment at the vet tomorrow and I didn't give her medicine today since she just throws it up.   She seems fine though but I'm concerned, this isn't normal for her
