Odd but that is a possibility. Bruce is there anything different about your house than the others in the neighborhood? I know when I took the children the only houses we skipped were the ones without lights on. We also did the houses will steep driveways that others skipped.

It must be Bruce's hilly driveway. (Bruce's house is on flat ground and it's a short walk from the sidewalk to the front door.)

LOL I know, which is why I'm curious if his house is missing something the others have. I can't imagine why they would skip his house.

We have a terra cotta jack o'lantern that we put in the window last night.

Nice and not messy at all.

It did not rain for Halloween. And even though it was 40s it felt very mild. I had tights on under my pants and took out my winter coat and hat. But I did not feel cold at all which was great. I am stuffed from eating candy!

I don't think i have ever tried candy corn. I am surprised that kids would choose it. Lights on is not enough here. You have to have halloween decorations too.

Not quite as busy as last year, which wasn't quite as busy as the year before, but it's only really been an hour and twenty minutes, so there's another hour and twenty to go. I shan't run out of candy tonight, that much is clear, and I'll be giving a lot of it to she of the Evil Eye and then we'll have some at our rehearsal, too.

Sold four books before the sale tonight, but the barbecue joint we were at was empty, so that was a wash. Sad. The place really went all out, but everyone was elsewhere for Halloween.

When I drove Bonnie home at 10 p.m., there were still kids on the street walking around. We were never out that late on Halloween.
