Up from a nap. Wish I could sleep more, but I won't tonight, I guess.

I watched a couple more episodes of CHEYENNE this afternoon.

One of them I immediately recognized as a steal from THEY DRIVE BY NIGHT, though it ended differently than the film.

What was interesting is that Alan Hale, Jr. played the same role in this episode that his father played in the original.

I think Callie may have done her business tonight, but not 100% sure it was her.   She was acting like she was hurting so I gave her one of the three pain pills the vet gave me.  They are really only for cats in surgery and they can only have one a day for three days and that's it.  She was hiding down the basement in a cat carrier.  I took her up to her soft bed and then decided to give her the pill.  I sat with her for awhile and she seems to be more relaxed

I'm considering going back to her original vet to get a second opinion.  There's one vet there I liked and one I absolutely didn't like. I got the impression from my current vet that her hands aren't big enough to palpitate Callie's stomach so she can tell how she's doing.  That doesn't work for me.  So...if the vet I liked will see her Monday or Tuesday I'm going to take her in

I'm sure they'll be surprised to see she's doing so well after 10 years.

That sounds like a good idea.  Have you ever taken her to an vet internist?

just watched 'Murder Comes to Pemberly"   on PBS  a murder mystery sequel to Pride and Prejudice

Overall I enjoyed it but I couldn't help but wonder what Jane Austen would have thought of it

I imagine she would have approved it rather more than http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pride_and_Prejudice_and_Zombies
