George - it's looking like the Dec. 2 date has simply replaced the Nov. 18 date, but wouldn't that be a good idea - to get it to the Kickstarter backers a couple of weeks early at least.

You'd think. :-\

DR GEORGE look at BurnAware - they have a regular download that you can use to burn BluRays......here is a site that lists several for you to compare.

When you are ready to download, though, go to the software publisher's own page to get it.....and be ready to uncheck some boxes so you won't get some new menu bars or shopping services.

The regular BurnAware doesn't support copy discs or let you make bootable CD's.....but if you're just burning a BluRay from a file you should be fine.

Some of the others look okay, too.   ImgBurn especially might be something to look at.

http://www.online-tech-tips.com/free-software-downloads/free-blu-ray-burning-software/

Thanks, Jack!  I'll look into these.  :-*

I have a class this afternoon I totally wasn't prepared for.  Oh, well.

It also turns out I have class tomorrow morning that I totally wasn't prepared for.  Oh, well-a-day!

Both are "required" for supervisors and managers.   One is on Safety and the other is on Accident Reporting.

Fudge!

Another brain fart...I first read Both are "required" for survivors and managers

It sure would be nice to just relax today, but that hasn't happened yet.  Maybe now, at long last.

Got coifed by Teddy, ate a cup of soup and a ham and Swiss on rye, picked up one package, did my banking and am home.  I realized I never got the e-mail from Jet Blue to check in, so I went to the site.  Every time I put in my password it doesn't work and I have to change it to something new.  Every single time.  Same thing today.  Then I couldn't print my boarding pass.  It was telling me it would save it as a PDF to my desktop, but it wouldn't.  I finally called and was really vociferous about these endless problems.  Basically, if you use a Mac and Safari you shouldn't use Jet Blue.  Basically if you use an AOL e-mail address you shouldn't use Jet Blue.  Safari is the reason I kept having to change the password, some incapability, which is absolutely inane.  Jet Blue and AOL are not compatible so e-mails don't come through.  I was able to print the boarding pass via Chrome but it still only let me save it as a PDF and had to print from there.  The woman didn't have a clew as to why that was happening, and yet, it's what happened.  I should be fine in NY to print at the hotel because those computers are usually Windows and use IE.  You would think in today's technology that they'd figure the stuff out, but no, that would be too much to ask.  Macs are used by millions of people, most of whom use the built-in Safari.  How hard would it be to adjust their site to work with such a hugely used browser.

I finished packing, save for the handful of toiletries I'll pack after I shower in the morning.

So, I think that should be it.  We still need lots of attendees for all the NY shows - the only one that's approaching fifty people is the first show on Saturday.  So, please pass the word around for the other three shows - the 9:00 Saturday show (it won't be a late evening even starting at nine - everyone will be out by ten-twenty) and the two Sunday shows.

I applied online this morning for Social Security and Medicare.

I feel excited.  Well, excited and scared.

Chickens and Social Security and Medicare, oh my!

What a long and semi-interesting class.

A few assumptions were made by the instructor that don't bear going into here.

Still...there was food for thought.

And now the work day is one hour from being finished for me.

It is relatively cool and overcast outside.

We may have rain tomorrow, which means I'll have to put a piece of plywood over the chicken pen to keep the food and chickens dry.  The coop is covered so they have an escape if they don't want to feed.

A very good episode of "NCIS" was aired last night.  I thought it one of the best episodes I'd seen of that show in quite some time.  Very touching story that tied back to the Vietnam era.  I also loved the sub-plot of Tony's finding a stray cat, deciding to adopt him and then finding the cat had taken off after he thought they'd bonded.  Cats are like that.   Yeah, they are.

I then went to bed..."NCIS: New Orleans" and "Person of Interest" were being recorded on my DVR at my Condo...so those will be watched "later."

I told by people in the know that the Sandy Bainum CD will be in tomorrow.  Falling in Love won't be, though - that won't be here till Monday because that printer has been sick and it just sat there for two weeks.  So those who ordered both, they'll ship on Monday morning most likely.  I'll probably hold the single orders till then, too.  I will have some with me in NY because I can't wait to have it in my little hands.

Back from Graeter's with four (4) cheese crowns.

Back from Kroger with six (6) 12-packs of Diet Vernors.

Tomorrow night I should hopefully be able to say I'm back from the Barnes & Noble I'll be passing on the way in, with a Tati box and a few other Criterions.  (50%-off sale is on, folks.)

I can't believe this item!!  On the local news they just had a story about two women (in a city I didn't hear) who have already gotten in line at their local Best Buy where they will hunker down for the next 16 days waiting for Black Friday.  These same women do this every year.  This year they want a good price on a new TV.

If they got a job with a temp service for 16 days, they could buy a new TV (any size they want) and turn around and get an income tax return in January!!

Everybody knows when you go to the show
You can't take the kids along
You've gotta read the paper and know the code
Of G, PG and R and X
And you gotta know what the movie's about
Before you even go
Tex Ritter's gone and Disney's dead
And the screen is filled with sex

Whatever happened to Randolph Scott
Ridin' the trail alone
Whatever happened to Gene and Tex
And Roy and Rex, the Durango kid
Oh whatever happened to Randolph Scott
His horse, plain as can be
Whatever happened to Randolph Scott
Has happened to the best of me.

This is from the movie, "Drive-In."  My sister and I saw that back in the day, probably on TV, but we both remembered the song.

It's still a great song! ;D

Cheese Crowns from Graeter's are to die for!  And so are Cinnamon Squares.

Vernor's - diet or not - meh.

I am as packed as I can be the night before, so I've quit.  We're watching Kent State and Bowling Green play football - not exactly powerhouses.
