Five hours of dance practice tonight. And no more until after Thanksgiving.

Made a pear-cranberry crostada today. Came out OK, but it could extra butter. And what in life couldn't use a little more butter.

The cap has come uncapped three times today.  I think I have to go in tomorrow morning and have something done - maybe a new tighter temporary.  I can't even think about chewing ANYTHING on that side right now, and to have to deal with Thanksgiving dinner that way, not to mention the Kritzerland show, well, no.

I spoke with DR Kate.  Her husband went back to their house and shoveled the area near the second entrance.  They plan to go home tomorrow.

That was fast.  Will the roof hold ok untill the work can be done?

DR Jeanne - I'm glad that you like your dentist. But if my dentist told me he would be drilling without anesthetic, I would have to find a new dentist.

When Bryan was a baby I was concerned about a possible reaction to an anesthetic, I isisted the dentist drill without using anything.  He said he would never agree to do that again.

I am very disappointed that I have a cold when I am about to meet my grandniece.  If I am not better by Thursday I will not be able to go near her :(

Well, it's time for me to leave work and go to my sister's house.  I don't know if my cousin is there yet, but if not, he should get there soon.

Until later!

Yikes!  There was some sort of traffic jam on the freeway when I left work today.

I don't mean I had bad TD's.  In fact I have always loved Thanksgiving.

I got on I-5 at mile 101 and had to get off at mile 102...it was so crowded and slow that it took my almost 15, count 'em, 15 minutes to go that one mile!

I got off the freeway and it took close to five minutes just to get to the end of the off-ramp!

Once I got onto Capital Way, I was able to go through town fairly quickly (at a normal speed).

But then when I got downtown, there was ANOTHER accident and traffic had to be diverted around that!

It took me almost 45 minutes to get to my sister's house, when it normally would take 12-15 minutes. :-\
