DR Jeanne - I'm glad that you like your dentist. But if my dentist told me he would be drilling without anesthetic, I would have to find a new dentist.

Bruce, one of the dental staff was showing me a nifty little model of a set of teeth. It's designed to show what a veneer is, a crown, an implant, etc. It's life-size and can be taken apart. I wish you could see one. I've never seen a model like this before, but it's great for educating patients.

Back from doing a fun interview with Les Traub - he was VERY prepared and asked great questions - and then picking up some packages.

Hope to be able to read it.  Will it available on-line?  Was it a radio interview?

He gave me the choice, and I knew that if it was too much I could stop him and he'd numb me. But getting numbed isn't much fun, either, is it? I've had some drilling done before without an anesthetic and actually prefer it. IT DEPENDS, OF COURSE, ON WHAT NEEDS TO BE DONE!

I've never had a drilling done WITHOUT anesthetic.  I guess I'm fortunate in that it doesn't adversely affect me.  I can't imagine not having the anesthetic and I don't want to! :o

I spoke with DR Kate.  Her husband went back to their house and shoveled the area near the second entrance.  They plan to go home tomorrow.

That sounds encouraging!  Hopefully there isn't any damage!

I like BONES, too. I love stories about smart, geeky people. I think the BONES writers, cast, and crew have all done a very good job of keeping the show consistent. No major cast changes, no veering off into something completely different.

It's available on Netflix streaming. too.

I just finished doing my evaluations for my staff.  Whew!  I will be able to listen to the CD again tomorrow and revel in the beauty of Sandy's voice and think about what to write without having to think about my work while I'm working. :D

Holiday coping vibes to DR Ginny.

Thank you, DR Jeanne.  Things seem to be under control for now.

I didn't get a lot of sleep last night--predictably. But I have tomorrow free to do as I wish. NO going anywhere near a Trader Joe's or other popular food store. I may catch up a bit on things at home--LOTS of that to do--or I may go out for some Mexican food.

Whatever you do tomorrow, DR Jeanne, I hope it makes up for today's ordeal.

Well, it's time for me to leave work and go to my sister's house.  I don't know if my cousin is there yet, but if not, he should get there soon.

Until later!

Got my Sandy CD!  It was impossible to pick favorite songs, but I hope some Amazon users find my Amazon review helpful.

I have been posting here all this time and never before tonight noticed the "go down" and "go up" buttons. How that would have saved my scrolling finger all this time, had I noticed them before!        :P
