DR Jrand64, I just checked my lottery numbers for last week and won $28.00! I think those pennies are working hard.

Back from doing a fun interview with Les Traub - he was VERY prepared and asked great questions - and then picking up some packages.

I spoke with DR Kate.  Her husband went back to their house and shoveled the area near the second entrance.  They plan to go home tomorrow.

Just home from a very tortured day.  Not that I'm complaining.      :)

DR Jeanne's New Dental Adventure:

The dentist started by telling me that today's visit was the "easy" one and it's the next one that'll be the difficult, two-hour one. So what did this "easy" dental visit (I suggest there is no such thing) consist of? One hour and 15 minutes in the chair. He said he'd prefer to do the drilling without an anesthetic, so I consented, as I suspect it's the anesthetic that leaves you feeling so knocked out. Then three different individuals each took impressions. If this was "easy" I'm wondering what the difficult visit will be like.

We agreed we shouldn't do the next visit just before the holidays in case there's a problem and I need to reach him. We'll do it in January.

I don't think there's an "easy" dental procedure - even teeth cleaning is irritating in one way or another.

Kevin, good news! I imagine until more snow is removed no one will really know how much damage they've had.

I didn't get a lot of sleep last night--predictably. But I have tomorrow free to do as I wish. NO going anywhere near a Trader Joe's or other popular food store. I may catch up a bit on things at home--LOTS of that to do--or I may go out for some Mexican food.
