Oh that's sad, especially to happen around the holiday like this.  Not that there's a "good" time for such a loss.  A very nice ode to a beloved dog.

Just got asked to play in a SHE LOVES ME during Feb./March.  Thinking of saying yes.  No conflicts, I've never done the show, the MD is a good one, and it's a good commute.  So why not have a little musical fun and make a few bucks?  Yes indeed, why not?  Why not, indeed?  I ask you.

I got home and heard a strange clicking sound.  It turned out to be the Cable box/DVR.  I think it'll have to be replaced.  The problem, of course, is that I'll lose all the shows I recorded.  Sometimes I think I should go back to taping on a VCR.

Good morning, all!

I send sincere thanks and love to all of you who sent me good vibes yesterday. I can only credit that $28 lottery win last night to those vibes and DR JRand64's advice about the pennies. I'm very grateful  for that.  This morning around 11:00 I will run down to City Center to pick up a check and head for the bank.

BK, I went to contribute $20, but it appears the site wants $100 from me, but there's no way I can afford that at the moment, so I send vibes that you make your goal. I also send dental vibes.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Vibes to BK! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
VIBES to DR ELMORE~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Pumpkin pies are cooling and an apple pie (frozen, from Schwan's) is baking.  The house smells so good and Richard is in agony because we can't cut into these beauties until tomorrow.
Oh my, I bought a fresh pumpkin pie from the bakery.  I wish I had baked one so my house smelled that good....oh  wait!   I bought a frozen one too, I can bake it this weekend
I never cease to chucle at Dr. Chew, the dentist.  My mother once went to a Dr. Noodle, but he was not a brain surgeon.  I did, however, once know a proctologist who was a real ass.
I had a client who went to Dr. Doolittle.
My brother is making his bourbon chocolate pecan pie.  It's Paula Dean's recipe and is wonderful.   We're all going to Samantha's house. There will be 12 of us, which will be fun.  I'm driving up for the day, but will be coming back tomorrow night as I need to work on Friday....well, I want to work on Friday is more like it. No one will know I'm working and it's so nice down there when I'm alone and the phone isn't ringing.
I do have a brief and many exhibits that have to be in Omaha at the court on Monday.  I've started working on it, but didn't come close to finishing today, so I'll do it Friday and will have the rest of the weekend off
The cats are glad they don't nee to meet their new sitter.  Last night I was sitting with Callie in the dark (we were looking out the window) and  when I went to pick her up she hissed.  Boo went crazy until I said "BOO it's me"  then she calmed down a bit.  I don't know what she was thinking, but ut was pretty ugly.  I'm wondering if that's how they act around cat sitters
We have been out camping in the desert. Nothing quite like hearing the coyotes yipping and howling right outside the door in the middle of the night.
I do not understand camping, I do not understand desert.  Dessert, yes.  Desert, no.  Camping no.
For late lunch I had easy to deal with food with no troubles at all - a cup of chicken corn chowder and spaghetti with butter and cheese.
It is too cold to go camping in the forest. So, the desert it is.
I do not understand cold.  It was eighty-seven here today.  I do not understand the forest.  You used to be urban, didn't you?
I can remember a couple of days recently where we were on page 2 or 3 at this time of night.
So, I wanted to order Chinese food for dinner, and then i realized that thanks to the dipshit in Apt. 4F, they haven't finished the intercom. She's the one person in the building who has a million excuses for not being available or she won't leave her keys with the super. It really has everyone in the building pissed and wanting her dead.
She's lived in the building longer than I have (35 years) and she still calls me Michael. Oy!
So, i had some tortellini, but I was really craving either Chinese food or a cheeseburger. I wasn't ready to wait in the lobby for 30 minutes.;
