WRITING NOTES IN A TRICE

Well, you've read the notes, you read the notes in a trice, and now it is time for you to post until the cows come home - they'll be home in a trice, natch.

Once again, I have nothing of note to report.

Thanks, all, for the vibes and good wishes. At the moment, I have not caught any bug and have no fever, and the DH is doing a bit better.

Good morning. I have a very long day coming up, and I was hoping to sleep in a bit today. That didn't work out.

I have to pick up a package a the post office (blurays of Funny Lady and Yentl), mail a few last minute Christmas cards and do a little shopping.  I'll do most of my shopping when I get to Buffalo.

In the novel Benjamin Kritzer, that phrase is used by Benjamin's mother approximately 167 times.    I love it!         :)

Thanks, DR KevinH!  Later today I will go out to return some laundry I brought home and to have my first visit with her without a lot of people around.

Here's an indication of how busy I've been lately:  I just opened 9 doors on my Advent calendar to catch up to today.

TOD: I like the movie "Scrooge" -- the musical one. I have it here somewhere. I'm not sure I have any other Christmas movies around.

The last couple of years we saw "White Christmas" on stage: one was a Broadway tour and one was a local production.

I guess I'll head over to start the big project. I don't want to wait so long that I run out of time.

Good morning, all.

Crazy dreams, man.  Crazy dreams.  Two (count 'em) this week on one old theme.

Coffee!

Make that three.  It's all coming back to me.

And once awake, the musical part makes no sense whatever.

Good morning, all!  The damned dog barked way too late last night and I get to bed late.  I slept late this morning, and I think I will be more E&T than I would like for the next week. This Macbook is fine for out of town travel but I really hate using it; the screen is too small and my eyes are too shot.  It's a bitch to read anything and since I can afford no new glasses at this tine, I'm stuck with what I have. So, I think I'll be off this computer more than usual.
