I have to go back to the office on Monday after 3 weeks away. It will be hard but I'll live. I'm lucky to have a job and health insurance and money in the bank. I can't ask for much more. But I'm still counting. 8 more years (62-70).

She ended up having emergency surgery in the middle of the night to stop some severe abdominal bleeding. I don't really know more except that she is out of recovery, talking and may go home later today. I haven't talked to anyone there, just got notified via email. I have to wonder if it isn't related to her two c sections in a year and a half

I texted her earlier and she texted me back so I just called her. She can't talk very well because she had the breathing tube in during surgery. She sounds pretty weak, but it was still good to talk to her

DR lechienfou, Keith & I have gone to the parade a couple of times but never just to see the floats. I wish we had done that. We never took the children though which I would also liked to have done.

That is how I felt after 2 years of PT. Most of all I miss the shoulder massages my therapist gave me at the end of each session. I can do the rest on my own.

I went to the float display 43 years ago today with my parents. We'd gone to the Rose Bowl the day before to see Michigan lose to Stanford, but had not attended the parade.
