Ushering for Itzhak Perlman later. Should be fun. It's sold out. And he added 60 tickets on stage.

Would love to be there. Preferably in a seat.

Hi, John G. How ya doin'?

Good, Jeanne, and you?

OK, thanks.

Haven't had time to follow up on your magnesium suggestion yet.

I heard a new Internet term today: FVG for full-volume guffaw. The wordsmith felt LOL is too limiting.

Magnesium threonate is the best form for migraines, IMO. But in the throes of a migraine I'd think that any form of magnesium would do. My osteopath now has no more headaches due to mag threonate. We are both using Life Extension's Neuro Mag. Pricey, but I use the cheaper forms daily and keep Neuro Mag when I feel a headache coming on.

I try so hard to avoid all the military abbreviations at work. Why would I add another to my personal vocabulary?

Elmore, thank you for the advice on the BookFace page. Sometimes, I just never learn. And, no, I'm not trying to be Top Dog.

Perhaps some people feel a need to express themselves more fully than emoticons and 3-letter abbreviations allow.

I'll remember that. If I ever get to Sprouts again.

Yesterday I learned that a bunch of asses on the Cast Recording List, kicking up their heels and wanting desperately to be Top Dog, only end up being stupid bitches.

Amen.

I was amazed: so many know so little about something they claim to know so much about, and then Mr Lockharts, who owns a PhD. in Smugness, Condescension, and Belligerence, takes every half-assed claim in a talkback as veritable truth. And insults anyone within a million yard radius as well. Oy!

I think it was DR George, back in 2004 or so, who told me what ROTFLMAO meant.

I've been known to add another F between the M and the A.

FJL, would anyone really want to claim to be the father of Peter Pan? At least of that Peter Pan?

Not sure.  When the casting was announced, there's a rumor (unsubstantiated) they were heard doing a duet:

Tune of I’m Flying

[Brian:]  I’m Brian
[Allison:]  Brian, Brian, Brian!
[Brian:]  See my kid, sing out loud
Look at me, feeling proud,
[Allison:]  He’s Brian

No lyin'
- (Brian, Brian, Brian!)
See my kid flyin’ high
Watching her, it’s so satisfyin’

[Allison:]
Dad, you are the best Dad there can be
I know you will be so proud of me

[Brian:]
I’m Brian
- (Brian, Brian, Brian!)
Raise a glass, drink a toast
You will soon hear me boast

Ratings glory-bound, hope they fix the sound
There will be no glitches, it’s their second time around

[Both:]  Says Brian.

I was hoping to get into PAINT YOUR WAGON a little bit today, but, alas, best laid plans, etc.  I needed to spend the time on SHE LOVES ME.

Thanks for the vibes. Yesterday's show went really well, and was well-attended.

One more to go this afternoon!

I hope today went just as well.

I have been sitting here refreshing my screen like crazy waiting for my niece's swimming results.  She did great. And thankfully she swam 8 races and was not disqualified. They are extremely picky at the meet she is at. So far in the relays 4 out of the 6 teams (not hers) have been disqualified.

How very disappointing for the teams that were disqualified.  Congrats to your niece.

Watching 84, Charing Cross Road again.

I love this movie.  The book is also excellent.  DR Kate have you seen or read it?  If not I think you should do both.

Skip is out now, meeting a possible new pet dog to add to the household.  I'll know more probably in an hour or so.

This new dog would be a little over a year old, as opposed to having raised Toby and Dylan since puppyhood..

A Corgie?

This pool is known to disqualify a lot.  Sadly the #1 team from my niece's pool got disqualified. They would have come in first (not that they get medals or anything).
