And just in case anyone missed it last night, our very own TCB reached a unique plateau!

Just had to share (again). ;)

Last night, I had a very intense dream in which I said goodbye to a very dear friend I've not seen in years since he relocated to Los Angeles. We were very close during the 1980s and early 90s, when he moved.  While he was in AMADEUS, we'd meet after the show and I'd listen to him cry over his latest romantic disasters and his poor choice of girlfriends. Since my friend Alan Freeman died in March 2014, I'm hoping that this dream was a mashup of several friends I've not seen in some time and not a visitation from someone dying.

My college roommate
was in the original Broadway cast of AMADEUS.
He may know my friend, who has emailed me that he is okay.  I am very happy about that

A carpet for DR Laura.  Do you see it?

Larry, I am sure he would have known your friend.  Martin (LaPlatney) started out as one of the Citizens of Vienna, and then later took over the role of Major Domo.

Topic of the Day:  I'm not a specific fan on gangster movies, but the one that I really like is "Some Like It Hot."

From DR TCB:
Quote
Jane, I am not sure I understand what you mean.  Sandy has gone on several repositioning cruises.  That is how he got the free cruise (the very expensive, free cruise).  We fly to Ft. Lauderdale on the 21, and sail on the 22nd.

Wasn't there a friend who planned to take a cruise with you that has a habit of backing out do to fear of flying?

Don't let this award go to your head, DR Jrand64.  I can think of one or two other places that might be worse!    :D

Monday morning greetings!  Because I'm sick of winter, I'm doing some California Dreamin' today, bringing a June trip into a bit more focus.  I will be attending the AAUW national convention in San Diego June 18-21 and ALA in San Francisco June 26-30.  Richard and I will meet at SFO on the 22nd and we'll spend that week in Monterey and environs before heading to ALA on Friday.  I've been registered for the conferences since before Christmas and today I'm finishing up hotel reservations.  I'll wait a bit before making nonrefundable plane reservations.

At least it is in late June because early June can be damp & chilly on the coast.  Be prepared with some warmer clothes.  Whatever the weather is, the coast will be beautiful.

Good review.

Additional tax vibes for DR CHAS SMITH.

After reading a bit more, it turns out Indiana is only the THIRD most miserable place in the U.S. to live....not first....

What a relief ;D   What beat out Indiana?

Yes, the Californians I talked to in Chicago said I'd need 2 different wardrobes for San Diego and San Francisco.  I'm thinking layers...
