I'm not sure flushing a cache would work with this particular problem. It had to ultimately be fixed by Cox. I have no idea how long it will take to fix the Google problem, but since it's affecting many more people it will probably be faster. The Cox problem was finally fixed yesterday because my guy got on the phone with their tech people and worked through it. Changing the DNS server on a Mac took about four seconds. I just went to system preferences, "network", advanced settings, "DNS", and changed one address number, hit "okay" then "apply" and that was it. When the Google thing is fixed I'll go repeat that and put back in the Google DNS number, which is very easy - 8.8.8.8.
