My Birding Buddy lives in that area.

I just got word from a friend that her granddaughter and brand new great-grandbaby are on lockdown in that area in Mesa. Someone was in her yard. Two home invasions in the area.

Oh, my goodness!  That's terrible!  I hope that everything is okay.

I'm up and have announced.  Here's the full blurb.

Kritzerland is proud to present a new limited edition soundtrack release – a classic score from the Golden Age:

BENEATH THE 12-MILE REEF

Music Composed and Conducted by Bernard Herrmann

<SNIP>

CD has been ordered!

Here's the only copy of the film to get or watch:

It's in the Fox Cinema Archives series, and is apparently one of the very few of those that they actually released in the correct aspect ratio (CinemaScope).  Oddly, it doesn't even come up in a search on Fox's own site, but here it is:

http://www.amazon.com/Beneath-12-mile-Reef-Robert-Wagner/dp/B00GTSVPOW/ref=sr_1_1?s=movies-tv&ie=UTF8&qid=1426682361&sr=1-1&keywords=beneath+the+12+mile+reef

Sounds like the only real negative is, "Presented in 4:3 letterbox format."

DR Elmore, I'll read that article and look at the area on Google later.  I really hope this portends good things at last.

Fingers are crossed! Given that news, my brothers might be right about it selling at a higher price.  We'll see.  I hope it sells in the next six months.

I can't really say too much, but don't buy any of the PD copies of Beneath the 12-Mile Reef.  At some point it will be coming properly.

I just read the article and browsed the area on maps and Google Earth, and now I have a better feel for it.  I always knew where Middletown is, but I'm actually a little shocked at how close DRs Ginny and Elmore's world is to my fifty million trips up and down I-71 and just off the Lebanon exit.  Also, I've been over to Miami University and up and down the Springdale-Hamilton stretch a number of times, but I never connected all the dots.

The house is still in the photo on Google maps, but it no longer exists, only the land at 5744 West State Route 122, Franklin, OH  45005.

And I am home from Chelsea Music.  Today I gave a lesson in classic Broadway scoring to the Duck Family orchestrator Steve Margoshes, a very wonderful gentleman.

DR TCB.....did you ever find the Three Stooges movie HAVE ROCKET WILL TRAVEL?

It's on a 6 movie set for less than $10 on Amazon.  Search the title and you will find it.  Not all of the films are in good shape....it's a Mill Creek set....but ROCKET looks pretty good.

It also has The Outlaws is Coming, which is not in good shape, Around the World in a Daze, ...Meet Hercules, and a couple of shorts they appeared in...but not Stooges shorts....

Act Two rehearsal vibes for DR GEORGE

Thanks, Jrand, but tonight (and from now on), we're running the whole show!  I just went through my lines at lunch and I pretty much have them all.  WHEW!  Now, I just need them to stay memorized when we go through the whole show without stopping...and then when we add costumes...and then when we add lights and props...and then when we add the audience!

Does the Amazon description say that?  Ignore it.  They're totally unreliable on that kind of info.  This is the Fox release and it's been all over the forums that Fox issued this one right.

However...  note what BK said!  :)     Sounds like there will be some more excellent news coming down the pike one of these days.

A couple of questions for BK:  Do Kritzerland and Twilight Time coordinate their releases so that you have easy cross-promotion between the companies; and whether it's specifically done that way or not, does it make it easier to be able to release either format (Blu-ray and CD...or get the rights to release either format) if the other is happening at or near the same time?

You are correct DR CILLA LIZ - the prosecutor asked twice during the trial to have this juror removed for cause - the defense rejected a juror because he watched the movie before the trial even started.  Both requests were denied.

The mitigation expert continually tweeted her followers during the trial that no one should worry - it was taken care of.....

She also tweeted the results of the verdict about half an hour before court started that morning.  Arias' mother also tweeted the night before that no one should be worried...."it only takes one....."

I accept the verdict, I prefer LWOP, but it does seem more than coincidence that this woman was on the jury, would not explain to other jurors why she felt as she did, would not deliberate, etc.  But it is over, so I look forward to the sentencing.

JRand, I don't know where you got all that information. I'm sure the requests to strike were public record.  Both sides have strikes they can exercise for whatever reason they want to during jury selection, so while the state wanted her excused for cause, they didn't take her off when they had a chance to do that.

The rest may or may not be accurate.  I really don't trust what's reported on TV.  If the judge denied requests to strike that can be taken up on appeal and there have been reversals for juror misconduct, but they are very rare and it takes a lot of evidence that it was intentional etc.  It would result in another retrial so who knows if the state will want to do that.

The tweets aren't that unusual.   It does only take one and many attorneys tell their clients and their family members that.  The mother could have just been being optimistic and not really have any knowledge. As to the other tweet, who knows, maybe she was just guessing.  We have no way to know.

I understand your frustration, but I'm concerned that the TV people often stir that feeling up with inaccurate information especially Nancy G who I believe was admonished at least three times by the courts for her unethical behavior as a prosecutor in Georgia.

DR Jennifer - I watched DWTS last night.   I thought there were some really good dancers and a few not so much.  The girl who kept complaining about trying to dance with her big boobs can go home any time

I didn't like her either and suspect she will be the first (or second) to go home.

I really liked Derek and Nastia.  I thought that Val and Rumer were very good.  I also thought that Riker and Allison were amazing.  And even though they complained about his footwork I was very impressed with Michael and Peta.  I also think that Chris and Witney have potential.  There were definitely a lot of interesting performances.  I was shocked that the Shark Tank guy did so well.I was expecting him to be terrible. But i really hope that he doesn't go home on Monday. He was really good.

I thought that the girl with the boobs was terrible.  I thought that Suzanne Somers had a very tough week (forgetting her steps). I felt bad for Patti. She struggled so much in practice. I just hope that she is able to keep up.  I know that most people were really moved  by Noah and it is a nice story, but he was really not good.  When Amy Purdy danced she was surprisingly good.  Because Noah is missing his arm and knee i just don't know that he will be able to do very much.

I agree for the most part.  I think this season has lots of potential.  I love the shark tank guy.  Chris Soles wasn't that great either - he dances like a farmer, lol

HA!  I just have to keep a watch on my coolant level....as DR CHAS SMITH posted....we shall see what we shall see.

I get to return to rehearsal this evening....so that is good.

A Mini HHW Meeting in May would be nice.  I haven't gotten the performance dates for the Accountants Musical...so I shall be looking for that.

So glad you have your car back. That had to be very frustrating

JRand, hope you know I'm not being personal about the Arias stuff.  I get really frustrated at the way some on TV are messing with our justice system.  So, I feel like I need to speak up when I'm concerned about it

Cillaliz, YOU should be an advisor on a lawyer TV show.  I remember reading an article about Kathy Bates' show, "Harry's Law," where they said that just about everything they showed her doing in the court room was either illegal or at least a very inaccurate portrayal of how things are really done.
