I am not a member of Costco because I don't buy much and haven't much room to stock up. But, that said, they have excellent prices on eyeglasses, both frames and lenses. It would be worth it to me to join just for that, when the time comes. They don't have an optical department in all stores, but there's one at the Culver City store, and that's where I'd shop.

I gt two lovely emails from Steve Margoshes telling me the Budapest recording sessions went really well, and I'm very happy to have been of help with that Suck Dynasty Finale.

How nice to be appreciated.

How can it be time for another Kritzerland show? Wasn't there one just last week? And the week before that? Sigh. I can't keep up.

I don't think I could remember all I've bought at Costco, but off the top of my head (and keep in mind this is over a span of 22 years):

The aforementioned PC
At least one laptop
One really good printer
One or two external hard drives
Flat-screen TV
A couple of cordless phone sets for the house
One or two coffeemakers
Countless DVDs and Blu-rays
Some clothing items
Cat litter -- tons and tons of it
And lots of the type of things BK mentioned.  Lots.  Many lots.

I know I'm forgetting a thousand things.

After Costco, I stopped in at my one (count 'em) local record store to browse around.  Hadn't been in there in months.  And that's where I left a few bucks today.  (Not too many.)  I bought two LPs:  the original cast recording of GREENWILLOW and the original soundtrack of Preminger's THE CARDINAL by Moross.  I'll be listening to that in a few minutes.

I so rarely get to a decent record shop these days that my record buying habits have all but withered.  You should have seen me back in the day.  Oy!

Funny---all the talk about Costco.   I was thinking of joining. I'm wondering if it's worth it for a single person.  I think I might need new tires and was told they have great prices on them.

Every year Keith says we are not going to renew our membership and then he remembers something he wants from there.  There have been items we can't find in our local market.  For a single person, ask a friend to take you along and take lots of cash with you.  One trip might last you a year if you stock up on certain items.  One of the problems of Costco is that so many items are just too big if you don't have a family.  We got our tv there.

In no particular order, I get toilet paper, Kleenex, paper towels, blank DVDs and CDs, diet Pepsi, candy bars (for Theater Artists Olympia's concessions)...things like that. :)

It's now time for me to leave for the theater.  Last night, we had a rather quiet crowd...hopefully tonight's audience will be more involved. ;)

Be back later!

I do not belong to Costco.....I am hoping one of my brothers or sisters will join, and I can accompany them on a trip.

Of course, they are probably all waiting for me to join.

We are home from an early dinner at our favorite restaurant in town.  We ate at the bar and had celebratory drinks.  All was yummy.
