Thank you all for the lovely birthday wishes! I apologize for not sticking my head in sooner.  How wonderful to see so many familiar faces still around!

TCB, I'm so sorry to hear you're not feeling well.  I hope your cough ends quickly!

During the first few minutes of KILLING JESUS, I have learned that Jesus looked to be about two years old when he was born.

Okay, maybe not when he was born, but when the Magi arrived.

Cosco was outrageous today - a humungous number of people rather inanely buying a handful of things, as if they were in a regular supermarket.  Not stuff like the huge boxes or amounts of things - just regular things - how much can these idiots be saving?

This idiot rather often stops into Costco to buy a single roitisorrie chicken.  It saves me about j
$3.  And more importantly 2 hours

From DR Vixmom:
Quote
Congratulations Jane

when do you need to vacate and where are you headed?

Thank you.

We will vacate within 30 days of closing, which will be by or before April 24th.

We still don't know where we are going.  The odds are we will rent a little 1 furnished apartment while we search.  Where that apartment will be depends if we can find something local or not.

In ny you normally give vacant possession on the day of closing and generally it takes 60 to 90 days from signing of contract until closing. It's sounds as. If things work much differently in Oregon

My friend says it is wonderful for sandwiches, salads, casseroles, and chicken tacos.

The Fed Ex cartons are now in the Miami U. library. The director of Special Collections and Archives just emailed me.

To complain about the 27 cartons in the hall?

They like supporting Costco, they know where what they want it, they have an executive membership that gives them money back on what they spend, they were there for the pharmacy or other department....oh so many reasons. ;D

I was in Costco just an hour ago.

But all I did was browse a few things and walk out empty-handed.

Empty-handed is not a nice condition to be in when exiting a Costco.  But it happens sometimes.  Who can explain it?  Who can tell you why?

Why was this Costco shopping trip different from all other Costco shopping trips?

Funny---all the talk about Costco.   I was thinking of joining. I'm wondering if it's worth it for a single person.  I think I might need new tires and was told they have great prices on them.

I belong to both Costco and bj's I definitely find it worth while. The amount I save on my eyeglasses alone more than justifies the membership
