Once again, the patented haineshisway.com vibes have worked - Petula is in.  So, now I need some personal excellent vibes and xylophones because we need some miracles around these here parts.

Great news!

Personal excellent vibes and xylophones for some miracles!!!

Continued house vibes for DR JANE....did you say Vancouver yesterday?

Thank you and I did.  DRs TCB & George, how far will I be from you?

I'm about a hundred miles north of you (exit 101 on I-5), which is only about an hour and a half of driving time. :)

Tom is about another half hour north of me.

:D

Maybe we will get to see you before the summer is over.  First we have to survive the Saturday walk-through here and the Monday closing.

DR Jennifer according to Godreads you are way ahead of me this year on the number of books read so far.

That is surprising.  I actually need to pick up my pace. I over-committed to reviewing books.  I have 2 that are coming out on Tuesday that I need to read before then. and 2 more the next Tuesday. Plus 2 library books (one due this friday that i haven't even started) and one due next friday.

If you need to pick up your pace I am really in trouble ;)

I keep starting books and not finishing and I have taken over a week to read of few of my books.  I need to pick up the pace.  I had a good number of sleepless nights over all these changes going on but could not read as my brain was racing too fast to concentrate.

I went to check out the lake on my bike. It is still not in the best condition. The lake is a bit icy and the path is a bit wet. Plus it's not very scenic when none of the trees have leaves.  But it was so windy. So i cut through to check it out. There were some ducks in a huge puddle.Maybe the lake is too cold for them. :)

At first I thought your new bike was not in the best condition.  I'm glad it is the lake that isn't as that will eventually be ok ;)

A couple of weeks ago, I was browsing Amazon and found a collection of French comedies - I would swear W.S. Gilbert's English version of "An Italian Straw Hat" was among the plays - but I didn't add it to my wish list.  Now I cannot find it.  I swear I did not imagine it.

It's working my last nerve today.  I am so pissed at myself.

DR elmore3003 - there is some information about that matter here:
http://www.haddon-hall.com/GilbertBooks/WeddingMarch.html

Everything but the play collection, DR singsong!

I can't remember if I mentioned that I'd watched the new DVD release of the Follies production from France. I liked it a lot. Set-wise it is a bit limp, but the acting and singing were good, and there's that full orchestra in the pit. It is performed mostly in English. They made what I thought was a very wise and very judicious use of split-screen, so that you saw both the overall stage picture without losing some of the actorly detail. I would recommend it.

Sorry. My new bike is in perfect condition. It is the lake that has problems.

Actually I moved the thing that measures distance/how far i bike (not realizing what it was). So Monday it stayed on 2 kms until i figured out how to adjust it. today i only went 10kms. It's been pretty windy.

This is not the anthology I'm trying to find. I appreciate your help.

When I first heard that DR Jane may be moving to Vancouver, I was thinking Canada.  Then I remembered there's a Vancouver in Washington too.  That's the one you mean, right, DR Jane?!

I've also figured out a few time saving things around the office, moving things to make it easier for me to do everything.  I got some new Spanish legal term dictionaries and a new Oxford Spanish Dictionary to help with my translations.  It's a lot of hard work by myself and it won't mean making a lot of money, but I gotta say the freedom of being totally on my own is incredible.

The best part of the day was when at 8:45 I decided to just leave and called vixdad on his cell to see if we needed anything
