I was trying to think of what my earliest foreign films could've been, and they probably were seen on Saturday mornings...movies like Godzilla and other assorted foreign monsters. Of course, these were all dubbed, not subtitled. I can't remember what subtitled movie would've been my first.

So what year did you start dying your hair?

Sadly, my hair turned darker all on its own. I think I would've liked to have had the red hair, but it was not to be.

Today has been a day. I had to compile the monthly report of all the bills that were being paid this month and go to my own eye appointment (no real change from last year) AND tonight we start the final weekend of "Laughing Stock."

What a cute photo! Lots of us had very blond hair as youngsters, only to watch it darken, but I've never heard of red hair darkening.

A couple weeks ago I had to call the California Franchise Tax Board and had a similar experience. The woman I spoke to seemed to know her job and seemed to be able to understand me, but I simply could not understand her. She told me she fixed the problem, but I never did learn what the problem was. All I know is that I paid my taxes and the check cleared the bank, so I should be OK. Truly, some people shouldn't be handling customers over the phone. I do think it's easier to understand people in person.

Sorry to hear this. My cousins all have glaucoma and one of them is part of a Bausch & Lomb trial which emphasizes certain vitamins for the eyes. I'll try to find out more if you're interested.
