Well, you've read the notes, the notes were drippy, and now it is time for you to post until the drippy cows come home.

I am old enough to remember the Margo mentioned could have been the Margo who appeared in the original Lost Horizon and was the husband of Eddie Albert and mother of Edward Albert

I think I will go see The Sound of Music today as it was the 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th film I ever saw as a child.

I'm going to check out THE SOUND OF MUSIC, too.  If the presentation is really good, I'll probably stay through it all.

DR GEORGE and I  both have final shows today....matinees.

ALL of the students who are required to see ANTIGONE, and who as yet have skipped it, will be trying to get tickets today.  So we will have a full + house.  The good thing is that most of them will leave at intermission - the bad thing: that means most of them will not even see me.

We did a photo call last night, so I will post a link once the photos are up online.

AND I did say ALL of my lines last night.

Good morning, all!  There's been too much running about on my part this week and my body was not willing to trudge down to Toyland this morning. At noon, I must board a bus to Times Square and transfer to a subway to take me to Houston Street.  At 1:30, I'm seeing goddaughter Charlotte in Ionesco's Rhinoceros at a theatre on Bond Street.  It's a schlep.

Before I leave, I've got some Moross work, and I'm working on my response to the last email from Philadelphia.

I arrived yesterday at about 11:30a.m.  I took the "flyaway" bus to Union Station, where my friend Tom picked me up.  We had lunch and he took me on a little tour of the neighborhood.

Later my friend Leonard and I went to see Cinderella at the Ahmanson Theatre.  I was really looking forward to seeing Fran Drescher as "Madame," the Stepmother.  Unfortunately she did not perform last night. I still enjoyed it.  I'm still amazed at the costume changes onstage.

Change of plans:  This afternoon I'm going to see a local production of '1984' in which I know the director and a few of the actors.  The reviews are everything you could hope for, and it's the only performance I'll be able to see.

So, I'll take that opportunity this afternoon and stop into THE SOUND OF MUSIC at 7pm.  That one's no skin off my nose, as I get in free thanks to one of the managers being a friend.  My goodness, I have friends everywhere!   :)

Damn! Damn! Damn!  I just called Charlotte t tell her I couldn't make it.  Today, the heart and mind are willing, but the body is saying no.  Since it wins over the heart and mind, I am both frustrated and pissed off.
