Finished with my viewing - still a little queasy - may have to get another 7-UP.  Watched a particularly pretentious and bad documentary called Actress.

Have you tried ginger ale?  That works better for me than 7 up

Didn't get the job. And I'm largely relieved. I'm just too tired right now to think of doing anything else right now.

Sorry if you really wanted it, but I can relate to your feelings about it.  That's how I felt about the judicial positions I applied for.  I'm now very glad I didn't get them

It's been a really crazy month.   I just had too much to do.  I finally put a message on my voicemail that I'm not taking new cases for a couple weeks.  That's helped a little.   I've been very productive and am digging out, but it's really a lot of work.  This week I did manage to balance all the books, pay the bills and get the statements done at home in the evenings.  Feels very good to have that done.  Now tomorrow and Friday I can just go to work and work on cases without dealing with the business side of the office

It's taken months and months, but I'm finally getting to where I want to be with my practice.  I didn't realize how many things I just set up or let Edith set up and went with it, even if it wasn't the best way to do things.   I've adjusted a lot of little things this month and they have made a world of difference in getting things done.  Being sick really put me behind and a lot hit the fan in a lot of cases all at once, so chaos prevailed, but it's calming down and gets better every day.

But May is the start of baseball season and I've got a full season ticket to the SC Explorers.  50 games. The nice thing is if you miss a game you take the ticket to the box office and trade it for another, so I'll be able to take friends with me to games for nothing when I have a spare ticket from missing a game.

I can't believe tomorrow is the last day of April.

Tomorrow, I'm going with a couple of fellow actors from "Laughing Stock" to see "Avengers: Age of Ultron"!
