We celebrated Mom and Dad's 60th anniversary today. Mom made a coconut cake and one sister came in to join in the fun.

I have been doing a lot of lasts. Tonight we ate at the Japanese restaurant I like. Their misu eggplant rolls are terrific as it their seaweed salad.

Back from an amazing organ and brass concert at the Cathedral this evening.

After work, but before the concert, I had a major audition (singing, not theatrical). We got the material to prepare less than a week ago, and I've been stressed and not sleeping well over it.

I think it went pretty well, but I won't know the results for a few weeks. If the news is good, I will share it at that time. Otherwise, I shan't mention it again.

We have had a steady, gentle rain here for most of the day. It was sorely needed. Well, perhaps not as much as in California. But needed, nonetheless (that's one word).
