Greetings from Toyland!  My colleagues were in last night and removed a printer and other assorted objects.  The place is like a ghost town.

I like assorted objects.

Especially if they are shiny.

Saturday morning greetings!  I've been to see Tina for a haircut & style that won't last through the humidity and possible rain we're expecting.

This evening Richard and I are going to the new Rose Music Center at the Heights, a covered outdoor venue in the northern Dayton 'burbs.  The concert is all Rodgers & Hammerstein and one of my friends is in the Dayton Opera chorus and another is in the Dayton Philharmonic chorus.

The soloists for tonight are:

Gary Briggle, tenor
Laura Portune, soprano
Christina Baldwin, mezzo-soprano
Gabriel Preisser, baritone

Any familiar names here?

I was watching Orson Welles' Scottish Play movie last night, and it reminded me of a rumor I read on the internet.....

The movie also featured DR DRUXY's friend Dan O'Herlihy in his American film debut....and some of the worst acting ever captured on film by Jeannette Nolan and Roddy McDowell.

The twenty-something couple next door, AKA the Noisy Neighbors, had another one of their little parties last night. It didn't break up until 1 am. For a year or so they were actually relatively quiet, but about three months ago started having friends over again. The last time I spoke to them it got rather heated and I don't wish to put myself at risk. I almost called the cops, but was concerned that that would wake half the neighborhood. I will talk to the building manager, but she does little. So, only six hours sleep at most and I am not a happy camper.
