Here's a recipe from Mario Batali:

http://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/mario-batali/deep-fried-ricotta-balls-recipe.html#!

how would you rate this?

Thank you. Sounds okay. I just have to laugh that he copyrighted the recipe. When I worked with copyrights and patents, I learned that recipes cannot be copyrighted. The title, the layout in the book and any illustrations can be, but since the ingredients are public, the recipe is in the public domain, so to speak.

As much as I'm not a Batali fan, I will give it a try.

Well, I guess the stupid kid upstairs isn't moving out yet. If he moved in at the beginning of December, maybe he has until the end of June. I'm not that good on figuring these things out. But I hope and hope and hope that he goes away. He is now a bored and restless college "student" (he looks about as intelligent as a rock) and only has a part-time waitering job, from what I've deduced. When he's home, he does nothing all day, then starts in at dusk. He is SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO ANNOYING and RUDE. I just wish I were 6'5" and built like a defensive tackle and I'd learn him a thing or three. This kid needs to be knocked down a few pegs. He thinks the world of himself, and thinks that we all should feel that same way. UGHHHHHHH!

Yes, they have the best Italian cheeses. Nothing out here comes close. Good ol' Polly-O with the parrot!

Get TV has been showing the movie TWENTIETH CENTURY which is based on the story on which the musical was based, I believe.

Rock groups at church? That's not really Lutheran, even for praise teams. :)

Carole Lombard is so wonderful in that movie.

I think I have all of the stories on the website and linked to the Book Face pages, and I have the stories all sent to the print media.....with special paragraphs highlighting participants from their particular town.....

So I don't have to worry about doing that tomorrow.

After I leave, whether sooner or later, I'll go to my sister's house for some homemade crepes.  She bought a new crepe pan and wants to try it out.  Sounds good to me!

Can I place an order?

They didn't stay warm for very long, so they wouldn't survive the shipping...but they did taste good. :)

Well, I just found out that two, count 'em, TWO tickets have been sold!

Woo and hoo!

I think six or maybe seven people actually went in today, and a couple of people actually bought some concessions items during the intermission.

George, do you have my address? I'd like strawberries on mine, please.  :)

See my comment above to John G.  My sister didn't have strawberries, but she did have some raspberry preserves, and they were delish on my crepes!
