I'm happy to say I'm seeing "The Producers" on Saturday.  My friend, who's also from Buffalo, invited me to go with him, his wife and his mother and stepfather, who are visiting.

DR Jrand64 - for that costume dress that didn't work out, you should use this: made entirely out of Pokemon cards!

Glad to hear things worked out today, DR elmore!

Thanks.  Do you think there will be another attempted Office Depot pickup attempt on Monday as scheduled?

If beef stroganoff is your cooking specialty, why don't you serve that at the Christmas Eve Do?

1. I was stung by a wasp below the collarbone; said wasp then flew down my shirt.

2. We had a speaker from Africa, and I couldn't understand a word he said. He spoke English real purdy, though.

3. I am glad I was not the one who cleaned out the cupboard, which made one of the church members angry when she discovered some of her 874,372 plastic utensils were tossed.

Dear BK,

Have you ever been stung by a wasp?

Call me a Doubting BK

OK.

Just don't call you Shirley?

Speaking of Shirley, I've started reading Cindy Williams' autobiography on my Kindle (downloaded from my library) and I'm about half way through it.  BK's one mention hasn't been mentioned yet. ::)

A Question for BK:

In your notes today (and previously), you use the term "put-together," where two or more songs are "put together" to make one longer piece.  I'm curious.  Is that actually different than a "medley," or are they essentially the same thing and you just like to use that term?

:)

DR Laura, are you ok?  Do you react to stings?

Ouch.

They hurt, don't they? I was once stung by one on my forehead.

I realized today that June brought me a bat bite, a series of rabies shots and two gallbladder attacks and I still went to work every week day.  One day was just to get the mail and a few were 1/2 days, but it was never a really big deal.

I finished the only project I have this month with a very hard deadline.  So, that takes the pressure off if I need to schedule surgery, which I'm sure will happen when I meet with the doctor tomorrow

Not easy to make it for more than four - so I've never done that.  Maybe I had a dinner party of six once, but to go beyond that would require way too much work.

Bees yes, but I don't think a wasp (knocks wood).

:)

Put-together is kind of my term (I'm sure others will use it now) - to me, medley is something where more than two songs are involved.  I suppose two songs can be a medley, but I just prefer put-together because I always do try to put together songs that belong together either musically or lyrically.

Finally finished with rehearsal.  Marshall Harvey is coming by to bring me his first cut of the little video - he tried to upload it but it doesn't show up.  I think from now on I'll just send him a Dropbox request and he can do that.  Rehearsal was smoother than yesterday's but there are still some issues to work out and hopefully everyone will come on Friday and be on their A game.

I keep wondering why with all the shark attacks on the coast of the Carolinas why are people still going in the water?
