Ages ago, when I lived in upstate New York, I was driving home from work one day when a wasp flew into the car and up my pants leg. It did sting me. Hurt like the Dickens.

My dad said to moisten some tobacco and place it over the sting. The tobacco would draw out the poison, he said. I don't know if that's entirely what it did, but it was awfully less painful in a few minutes' time.

Pays to have a dad who has chewed tobacco, I guess.

Is "has chewed tobacco" the right conjugation of that verb?

Should it be "has chawed"? Or "has chawed up"?

I've never been stung by a wasp, but I got a bee sting on my foot quite a few years ago at a friends house, and after they got the stinger out (evidently, the area had a lot of bees and they had a lot of experience removing stingers), they put some toothpaste on it.  I really don't remember if it helped or not, but I think it probably did.

And on that note (B-natural), I'm leaving work and going home.

Until later!

I was stung by a bee at a funeral. The ladies at the church put some paste made from baking soda and water on it to draw out the sting.   It worked

DR Jrand64 - for that costume dress that didn't work out, you should use this: made entirely out of Pokemon cards!

Wasp stings! I can't even imagine! I was stung by a bee once and that was bad enough. I'll have to remember the baking soda and toothpaste.

I watched episode 6 of DANCING ON THE EDGE. Episode 5 ended rather happily and I wanted it to stay that way. I enjoyed e6--traditional Poliakoff. Plus more of that wonderful music.

I'm amazed at how quickly Jane & Keith's condo came together. I used to have to wait several months to obtain the contractors I wanted.

I spent the day trying to catch up on dozens of little things. I made good progress, except for an appointment that needs to be booked at UCLA. They put you on hold and that's the end of it. I'm getting quite annoyed with them, but don't expect the other health care organizations to be any better.

Well, tomorrow will be a big day. I want to get some things done in the morning, then the doctor at 1:00 PM.  Will be glad when I know what is next and when

T.O.D.

ASK BK DAY

If beef stroganoff is your cooking specialty, why don't you serve that at the Christmas Eve Do?

Not easy to make it for more than four - so I've never done that.  Maybe I had a dinner party of six once, but to go beyond that would require way too much work.

Thank you.

Had way too many Wacky Noodles and feel like I'm going to explode, but they were mighty fine.

The little video is fine - I HATE the way I look - I really need proper lighting, makeup, and I need to always set the shot so I'm happy with it - but other than that, it's fine.

I'm still waiting for my second eye.  This one-eyed shit stuff is really bothering me.  It is very hard to focus for very long

Why would you put pumpkin bread into a protein shake?  Why didn't you just eat it?
