Voldemort is basically a middle school girl: he has a locket, a diary, a tiara, a ring, and is completely obsessed with a teenage boy.

Watching an Arthur Miller play tonight called Memory of Two Mondays.

Great cast: Jack Warden, Dick Van Patten, Bernard Hughes, Estelle Parsons.

Big fan of View from the Bridge, when it's done right. Haven't seen Mondays before.

It was a day.  So glad I went to Leslie's funeral.  It was sad and I hate going to funerals, but I was glad I was there with so many of our friends to support her family

Then I went from the funeral to the surgeon's office.  Had a long wait and let them know I wasn't pleased the person who had a later appointment than I did got in 1/2 hour before I did, but it was all straightened out and I got over it.  Just my big pet peeve

I do like the surgeon and we have scheduled the surgery for the 15th.  It's same day surgery.  My parents and brother are going to come down and will stay until I'm settled in at home.  I have a friend coming over to watch a movie or hang out that night and another friend who will come over that night or the next day if I need her to.  Mom and dad offered to spend the night, but for a number of reasons, I think it would be more difficult for me if they are here.  My doctor also said if I am alone and have any concerns at all he'll give me his number and I can call him as many times as I want to.  Pretty nice offer

Really enjoying the Miller play. Other people in the cast include Jerry Stiller, Harvey Keitel, J.D. Cannon, Tony Lo Bianco and George Grizzard. Paul Bogart directs.

It was part of the Broadway Theater Archive

That is a very nice offer, Cillaliz.

Do you want people around you while you convalesce?

The two times I was in the hospital for several days, I wanted no one around me. Of course, too many people came to visit. It sort of felt like I had to entertain them. I much preferred using the time to catch up on some reading.
