Well, you've read the notes, the notes were uneventful, and now it is time for you to post until the uneventful cows come home.

I finished reading the play.  I wept.  I don't remember that ever happening before.

I realize that it is four o'clock in the morning on the East Coast, but what about those folk who live in the city that never sleeps?

We take shifts sleeping.

Actually, I think in the 1970's when the song was written, NYC really was the city that never sleeps.   I think that may have chnaged a bit over the years.

Saturday nights have also changed over the decades.  In the 1970's, the best TV was on Saturday night, and there were no VCRs, so people actually went out afterwards - if this old brain is recalling correctly.

These days, on TV, Saturday night is where they put shows if they want to "bury" them or just run toff their seasons.

It's a dark and thunderstorm-y Sunday morning here.  Supposed to clear up, but with the chance of thunderstorms all afternoon and evening, so why bother?

Well, it's not like I have anything intelligent to say.

As I'm sure was apparent.

This would be the perfect day for Kathryn Kuhlman to come along and believe in some miracles.  Don't you think?

Where's Dino we we need him?

DR LAURA - I gave up on our Broadway series when they kept changing the shows AFTER our tickets were purchased.....and they changed venues.  Half of the shows are done in one place with lots of parking, and the other half are done in a downtown venue with NO parking.....

It wasn't worth it.....I haven't been to a single show in many years.

On the subject of the notes:  I'm not sure if I ever broke the monotony, but I bent the hell out of it once or twice.
