TOD:

Wink, a grapefruit soda from Canada Dry, was my favorite as a kid. Love Mexican Fresca now. It's similar.

Chicken in a Biscuit was a favorite as was caramel corn among snacks. But those were for special occasions. Celery, radishes and apples were more common, and I still snack on them a lot.

Tuesday morning greetings!  I'm in a bit of a fog because my echocardiogram is this afternoon and, although I can eat normally today, I was limited to one serving of caffeine this morning.  Also still kind of bummed about yesterday's conversation with Mom, but I will deal with that tomorrow.

Thank you, Miss Scarlet!

I asked for that, didn't I, DR JRand!

Hey, all!

I only know Nehi as a crossword puzzle answer... it still exists? Good to know.

Growing up, I was a big fan of spicy chips. Deli's jalapeno chips and BBQ Dipsy Doodles were the faves, as I recall. No particular soda favorites, although I always went for the root beer when a selection was offered.

Home from Columbia, the bank, and the market. The Rare Book Room is freezing; after a couple of hours the chill really sets in and i have to depart.

Seven hours of sleep all told.  I was up at five for about thirty or forty-five minutes.  Very wacky dreams.

I just want to know how a house can sell (and apparently it was a normal listing) without ever having put up a sign, not even for five minutes.

DR George I'm sure your friend appreciated your warning.

I think so.  The comment has been deleted, so that's good. :)

I'm sure that they also listed it on the realtor's website(s).  It's a lot easier for potential buyers and their agents to just peruse websites and then go look at the best candidates, than for the sellers to rely on signs on front lawns.

DR slingshot, are you going to picket the offices of big gamer dentist Walter Palmer?  The scumbag should be in prison.

I agree, if he's guilty. And by his comments, he is.

Ours did, not that we had any intention of putting a sign up.  You don't have to and we didn't want one.

Our realtor mentioned our home at her office and had numerous request to see it.  Then she mentioned it at a general monthly realtor gathering and received more requests, which is why we sold our house in 3 days before it was ever listed.

Thank you, DRs George and Jane, for the vibes.  I survived the test, which was more uncomfortable than I remembered, but won't know the results until I see the cardiologist a week from Monday.  I'm now enjoying a nice iced coffee with cream.
