I am shocked, I tell you, shocked!

Ms Barbra Streisand announced the winner of Best Actor that year and presented Mr Wayne with his Oscar.....but sitting on his right was Mr. Warren Berlinger!  How or why....well that is a question for the ages.

When I read c*** I could only think of naughty bits . . . of both genders!  If c*** stands for something else, something that's not sexy, than, yes, I'd love one.

But don't be mailing me no naughty bits!  The government's cracking down on that!

Wow!

Thank you BK, Jay, George, Joey, Panni, Sarah, JRand, DR Laura, Matt H, Elmore, Jennifer, Danise, MBarnum, td and Noel for those great birthday wishes.

No hora or ham hunks. But at the moment I'm having a delicious Hungarian Trappist cheese sandwich.

Hi TCB!  So glad to see you back here!!

Jed is holding on, for now.  I posted a few days ago that he has found a terrific job opportunity working in the Music Library at UW.  He applied two weeks ago and the job closed Friday.  So this week or next we're REALLY hoping he gets a call for an interview...which would ideally lead to getting the job.  It's the best option for him that's come up in many a month, and he's so perfectly qualified for it...I'm desperately hoping he gets it.

I worked my first gig as a transporter yesterday, taking two girls to visit their parents...an interesting job, to say the least.

Noel, that is so SPIT-TAKE worthy!  Now my sides ache from laughter!

What happens when I write B*****g?

I wonder what would happen if you did feed Trappist Cheese to mice. . .could they sing "Do-Re-Mi?"

The Frisco Kid also stars our very own Miss Penny Peyser as the intended of Mr. Wilder.

As was so frequent in the fifties, there was no "soundtrack" to White Christmas, because Rosemary Clooney was under contract to Columbia Records and wouldn't allow her voice.  And since it's a Paramount film, and they have no interest in releasing their soundtracks, it is doubtful we'll have have one.

Thanks for the information all! I have a friend who lives in New York. She had been looking for it on cd also but couldn't find it anywhere. Her uncle owns an old record shop and he actually had the record. He had a machine that let him burn it to a cd and she shared that with me. I love it but it is different from the movie. DR Danise, I told her if she wanted I could pull it from the DVD and send her a recording. I would love to be able to pull the dialogue from some of the instrumental stuff but the software I have is not that advanced. Beggars can't be choosers I suppose!

Thank you for the welcomes - I just checked the late edition from yesterday! No coincidence that TCB returned at the same time of course!!! Hope that means that your computer is now in operation TCB. I look forward to much fun. Meeting DR François was a high point of our trip. Also met ex Hainsie Allan who is terrific guy too.

I've just realised it is Sunday. (Well it is Monday here!).
If TCB is posting on A Sunday it must be good news.
