This film version of Miss Julie is really intense. Loving Jessica Chastain, Samantha Morton and Colin Ferrell, even if it's depressing.

Our real issue is with the bikes that don't slow down and you can feel the air as they zip by. As I expected, you are careful. If walking a dog I face traffic and keep the dog on the grass/tree side of the walkway.Well I have never hit anyone. Although some times crazy things happen. For example last year I was biking on the bike path that is at the side of the road. A lady was walking/jogging on the sidewalk beside the bike path. And then at the exact second i was passing her she decided without looking to walk into the street/step into the bike path. You just can't predict things like that. There was no reason for me to slow down as i was on the bike path and she was on the sidewalk.I find it super annoying how many people walk their dogs on the bike path when there is a sidewalk. and when they see me coming they don't even try to move the dog onto the grass. Instead they expect me to go into the street. It's a bike path and there is a SIDEWALK. Use it.

Quote from: John G. on August 02, 2015, 04:48:30 PMBoth my dad and one of my sisters cut their foot within the last 24 hours and apparently bled all over the place. I certainly hope these things don't run in threes. Safe foot vibes for John g and family

DR Vixmom I did not find a demonstration for the sling to get the person off of the floor. Lifting them from a table was bad enough. I hope you never have to use that thing.
What does the box or square emoticon mean?
John G - No, those types of things stop at two. There will be no third injury in your family.

I have to differ with you Imagine three adults using all their strength taking 45 minutes to get someone to their feet all the while he is getting frustrated and upset . Then another 10 minutes to try and move the few steps to the chair. Then try to get him into a chair without him slipping down and falling on the floor,. that sling will be an absolute Godsend

And since I'm also on the board, I will not only get to participate in the feasting, I will have to help provide the feast, which I certainly don't mind doing. I'm going to get a couple of Costco pizzas. That should be good for everyone. Until later...much later!
