I'm back from my parents' house.  We ate and played Scrabble (of course, we didn't eat Scrabble and play Scrabble ;) ), and now I'm watching "Suits" while a load of laundry is in the washing machine and a load of dishes is in the dishwasher.

Internet was down, therefore no Netflix.  Called.  No outages.  Really, Time Warner jerks?  They said my modem was offline and to reset by shutting everything down?  Really, Time Warner jerks?  Well, guess what, Time Warner jerks - there was obviously an outage on YOUR stupid end because guess what, Time Warner jerks - I didn't reset my modem or do anything and I seem to be online.  Which means it's YOUR fault and not mine.

So after church, I fixed some pasta with yesterday's from-scratch tomato sauce. Then I made some croutons, some thousand island dressing, and a blueberry cake. A nice salad is on the menu for tomorrow.

An about-turn from the sloppy Chappie. Watching the film version of All My Sons with Burt Lancaster and Edward G. Robinson.

I don't think I've given Robinson enough credit or paid enough attention to him. Really enjoying his performance, even if the movie is somewhat stodgy.
