When we purchased the condo it came with a built in coffee/espresso/latte machine.  Since it was old and Keith's fancy coffee system is better, we pulled out the old coffee maker.  The contractor designed and build a pull out shelf with 3 sides finished, and a leaded glass pull down front to it.

It is the fit of the pull down door that needs tweaking.  Just having all the wood in place, vs an unfinished white shelf, it looks 100% better.

But I've seen concerts from up in the field and that's fun, too.

We used to go the the Britt Festivals in Jacksonville, about 45 minutes from our Ashland home, that were nice.  We only sat in the seats a few times, mostly we were on the lawn.

The contractor is on his way here.  I hope whatever he did to the door solved the problem.

We really lucked out finding this contractor, plus he has the best temperament of any contractor we have worked with.

I listened to it and enjoyed it.  Kind of predictable, but entertaining.

Tuesday evening greetings!  I went to Dayton today for lunch with the grantwriters, a group I hadn't seen since May.  We had a lot of catching up to do.  Then I had an appointment at a medical supply place to be fitted for the compression stockings that were prescribed for the venous insufficiency in my legs.  This is a company I'd driven past every day on my way to and from work for 11 years and never thought I'd patronize.  The hose are not attractive, but I have to admit my legs feel better when I'm wearing them...

It has been a busy two days, and with the start of the program year for churches, temples, and schools, things are about to get pretty crazy.

My boss, who is the best person I have ever had the good fortune to work for, has announced he is leaving for another job (outside our company). That transition is also imminent.

Bummer. But I hope you get an even better supervisor.
