Kim Davis has been released from prison. It's so tough being a martyr sitting in jail.

What a complete fraud.

DR John G, I'm sorry about your church friends. One of my Facebook friends lost family members in an auto accident in the Catskills this weekend.

That's terrible, John G. :( My condolences to your friend.

That seems like they are asking an awful lot from the jury pool, DR Ron Pulliam - way above and beyond.

I think they realized that.  They apologized a lot.  That didn't make our backsides feel any better.  At least those in the jury box had padded chairs to sit upon!  ;)

She was part of a press conference with Mike Huckabee and Ted Cruz, each hoping (I'm so sure) to gain some mileage from it.

I like the fact that Cruz and Huckabee, two of the Tea Baggers' biggest fools, are so publicly saying to the nation, screw you, Supreme Court.  I hope it buries the scumbags.

I've been going through a number of old CDs from back when I listened to punk and have made the decision to sell them -- but not before I copy them all. Who knows. One of these days, I may want to listen to them again.

I can't believe what I've had sitting in the Music Room for at least a few years.

In seeking out used records I'd occasionally find something signed or inscribed, which can be just as rewarding as finding something like that in books.  Well, I just happened to be moving some sh stuff around today, which caused me to glance through a half dozen or so signed albums I'd set aside, and will ya get a load of this one.  I've never even played these, but that will be rectified.  The vinyl will get a proper cleaning and a quality sleeve, and we'll see what it sounds like.  The notes tell me that Brian Torff was Shearing's bass playing partner at the Concord (California) Jazz Festival.  The record is copyright 1980.

DR cillaliz, if I had a choice between Audra MacDonald and the baseball game, we'd be sitting in a stadium with hot dogs and beer!

well, if we can win the series with St. Paul, that's exactly where I'll be

DR Ron, I was hesitant to register to vote because I don't want to go through that.  I'm not sure a note from my doctor in Ashland would get me out of that.  My restlessness during the process might though.  I would have to get up and stretch, pace, something. My body could not stay in those seats.

They should always ask if you have any medical issues that would make it difficult for you to sit through the case.  There are always breaks etc

Without giving too much info, the note from my doctor easily got me out of it in Oregon.  I cannot simply trust breaks.

I understand people who disagree with different positions because of their religious beliefs....but she is a government official.  If she didn't like it she should have quit her job, not refused to give marriage licenses.  She should have to leave office

Jury selection can be the most important part of a trial.  Thanks for your patience, I'm sure all the parties appreciate it

They don't have much support anyway, they are grasping at straws.  They'll be out of it soon

Well then, you can register to vote and not worry about it.  Truthfully no one wants a juror who isn't going to pay attention because of medical or other issues, well unless you have a really bad case, lol

Holy moley.

Earlier this evening it was 91 here in Danbury, 90 in NYC, and 90 in Miami.

I did register when I got my driver's license.  I hesitated for half a second when I was asked if I wanted to register ;D
