Well, you've read the notes, the notes had a preview of the preview, and now it is time for you to post until the previewing cows come home.

Congrats on the preview, Bk!  The first couple of performances with an audience are always wonky and will get better.

Topic of the Day:  in my DVD player at work:  a burned DVD of "The Fourth Annual Playboy Jazz Festival" (Parts One and Two).  I made a DVD from the commercially released VHS tapes.  I want to make sure that everything was okay with the disc before I deleted it from my DVD burner.  I just listened to Part One yesterday at work and it's great.  I'll listen to Part Two today.

Re the bad part of the day in the notes - It becomes so frustrating as you get transferred to other departments, and I'm convinced that the phone people try to transfer - and remove from their responsibility - anyone who has a problem that can't be solved quickly.  it seems like it's no-win for them to try to solve a problem that might not end up with a happy caller.

DR George - I'm sure your parents appreciate your efforts. I am just not certain that anything good can come from a chainsaw mounted on a pole.

DR Ron Pulliam - the "ceremony" we had in 1990 was what we considered our wedding, even though at the time it didn't "count" in any legal way. Both sets of parents and a gang of our family and closest friends were there. When we had the "legal" ceremony (and met you) was in San Francisco in 2008 in that brief window before Prop 8 was passed.

Good morning, all!  It's a somber day in Manhattan, and the stations are filled with 9/11 memorials.

After I dry my eyes, several hours from now, since I will weep through the  presentation, I will get back to the Moross score. I finished the third number last night. Five numbers to go!

It doesn't help that it's also a cloudy day in Manhattan.

It was frustrating and infuriating just reading about MR BK's telephone troubles, so I can well imagine what it was LIKE.

Thanks to all for the opening night vibes....they worked!!  We had a fairly good sized audience....about 2/3rds full....and they laughed all night, particularly in the second act when everything goes to hell and we have to drag a dead body around the stage for 15 minutes.......

I messed up some lines in the beginning and one at the end, but otherwise I think I said everything right AND in the right place!  So on we go to our first Friday performance!
