I appreciate all your advice. I need to decide if i take action now or wait until I am back in Ohio.

It seems like it will upset you if they show up at your event. Maybe you could just email them and tell them that you would be too distracted if they were there. And maybe you can arrange a separate time to meet.

I never want to see either of them them again. Ever!

I know.  Agreeing to see your brother later might get them off your back.  I wish they had left you alone.  Respinding sooner than later might make it eadier for you to put them aside, in your mind, and focus on the good parts of your trip.  Good it will be :)

I was halfway expecting him to show up at Randy's house over the weekend and force some sort of confrontation, and if i had to deal with it, i would deal with it. i never expected the email of this morning and it bothers me because, even though he's once again attempting some sort of rapprochement, his frustration over my refusal to deal with his attempts to kiss and make up could lead to some real ugliness - perhaps violence - on his part. What I would prefer are no scenes, no conflict, and no confrontation.

Which is why it might be best to put him off until after your presentations, and then agree to see him.

Can Randy and his wife help run interference?

I don't know.  They both hate Lady M.  We all hate Lady M!!!

I'm going to call him tonight.

MAJOR VIBES!

Well, I had exchanged messages back and forth with friends, one in Austin and another visiting Austin, about getting together for lunch today. I even took an extra day off work to do it. I find out, as I sat down to lunch at the agreed upon place, that the one from Austin thought it was for dinner and the other thought it was tomorrow. I feel like I've wasted the day. Except for a few small purchases.

Frustrating, and odd they both had the wrong time.

I spoke to Randy.  He has no idea what is going on at the Macbeths and was completely surprised by the email.

As expected, my eyes were dilated and are still a little blurry.  I had Avery thorough exam and liked the new doctor.  I have a new glasses prescription, but will go bake when I can see well enough to pick out frames.

DR Elmore, we received a piece of mail today that's much nicer than my Medicare card.  We'll be there!

The end of the Macbeth email was "please advise," which makes me suspect that Lady M actually wrote it.  i just now answered "No. thank you for asking."

If the Macbeths do not kill me by Wednesday, so will I.  And Randy and Jo, although it's late for her; she's usually in bed by 8 and up around 5:30.

And now, I must be off to the theater.  I don't know if I'll be able to post much.  We have an invited audience of paid TAO members, so I don't know what's going to be going on...other than the show, itself.

Until later!

But I'm sure that the people at the frame shop will really appreciate DR Ginny's baked goods.

If people have to RSVP does that mean that MacBeths cannot just show up? That would be ideal.

Avery thorough is the thoroughest of all.

Danny Burstein and Rebecca Luker had quite prominent roles on Law and Order:SVU, where they played the parents of a character named Avery.

So what makes a sister-in-law a "Lady Macbeth" rather than just a mean, vicious person?
