I'm on hold with the furniture company trying to get them to let me return my desk chair I can't use instead of exchanging it. All their desk chairs are the same design and I don't weigh enough to get them to roll around.

After I FINALLY got off the phone with the furniture store we went shopping. I found one store that carried the Saucony shoe I have been looking for to try on. Since I desperately needed a new pair of shoes, and they only had one in my size, we went to the store. We found, to our pleasant surprise, a wonderful little running store and we each purchased a pair of shoes.

The store also had a four month old English Bulldog puppy named Bella who belongs to the store manager. We had a great time playing with her. She is still at the age where she wants to chew on every shoelace, not good when the shoes are all new

On our way to the shoe store we passed a New Seasons Market which has the best Cotswald cheese in this area. So far we had only been to the Portland stores and not the Vancouver one. I now have delicious cheese, creamy European butter for baking, and their incredible almond cake.

Tonight I will finish packing and leave for the airport tomorrow morning, after breakfast with my cousins Jeanne and Sue Ellen. I could use some vibes for both the flight to New York and the flight not being cancelled or rerouted.
