Page Two?

Alert the Missouri Synod - my town is getting a Lutheran Church.  We have NEVER had one!

Well, I'll have a place to go Sunday mornings, if I ever come for a visit.

Does Adele always cry as much as she did tonight?

Anyway, time for me to crash - 'night!

TOD 2:

Neither movie was "artistically" great, but I thoroughly enjoyed The Second Best Exotic Marigold Hotel and Woman in Gold.

I don't know.  I have never seen her in concert, I only know her songs.

In January. Got a lot of work to do. And every day it feels like starting over from square one.

Watching something called Wodehouse in Exile, supposedly based on a real events, about Wodehouse and the Nazis.

I doubt it will be fun. But it does have Zoe Wanamaker.

Adele is the Celine Dion of now - she holds no interest for me and I can't stand that over processed singing.

I would rather have young people listening to Adele instead of rap.

Dan M, do you know why the really annoying neighbors moved?

(My annoying neighbors have not moved, but they have quieted down.)

I'm not sure. They didn't move all that far from my building. I've always had the impression that since they are friends with the young woman in the front office (all of them being early college age 21 or so) they may have felt that moving to a more accepting building, i.e. one with a more college-age crowd, that they could continue on with their well-into-the-morning soirées. I doubt that will go over well. Of course, they never liked the fact that I called the Sheriff on them several times and they could not counter. They knew they were in the wrong. A bunch of big dummies, immature, and never having any consideration for their fellow people.

At least the new neighbor(s) is aware of that. Only problem I have with them so far is that they both walk as if they are stamping out ants on the floor. I guess if that's the extent of the annoyance I get from them, I will have to accept gladly considering the outrageous behavior of the last one.

DR Jeanne: (continued)

Not that I claim to have any telekinetic powers, but perhaps my daily wish for the annoying neighbors to move was somehow answered. There were many nights of no sleep when I would clench my fist at the ceiling and say things I cannot repeat here and then motioning with my hand as if to sweep away I would say to the ceiling go away and leave. They did eventually, but it's probably just wish fulfilment and not anything psychic. Although it makes for an interesting anecdote.

THIS TV is playing "How To Stuff A Wild Bikini" which is a fun popcorn movie. What I really like is that it reminds me of the time when movies had great opening credits, in this case created by Art Clokey. Whenever I see a movie that has interesting opening credits as opposed to just a crawl, it helps make the transition into the world of the movie. Plus, it makes me think that there was some care in putting the movie together. Then again, if I don't catch the very, very beginning with the studio logo, I feel as though I am starting late.
