When I saw Deathtrap In NYC I went in knowing nothing about it despite it being a good play and being fooled and thrilled along with the audience and not revealing anything when I was taken to another production of it in Toronto.

Well, certainly the Internet has ruined any chance of a surprise for anything, spoilers or not. It's quite disgusting and most people who reveal these things happily are jerks - but even the ones who just say "ooh, the twist is great" ruin it because everyone knows a "twist" is coming and once you know that or have that planted in your head you figure it out.

Just like the "Blabbermouth" episode of THE HONEYMOONERS.

Just got back from my visit with my wonderful oncologist. It was a mixed visit. The good news is that I am still successfully in remission. But, the bad news for me is that my oncologist is leaving for a position with The Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. I am happy for her and know that is quite prestigious for her, but I don't think I would be here without her.

My oncologist gave me her cell phone number encouraging me to keep in touch and should any need arise she will intervene on my behalf.

The other item of note is that tomorrow December 17 is the anniversary of when I first detected that I had cancer in 2012. Not that it is a celebratory anniversary, but that was the morning I noticed the lump on my neck. I had gone to bed the night before with nothing. I was just getting ready for work. Was not a festive holiday season to say the least. I spent New Year's in ICU.

Good news about your health, DR DanM, but I'm sorry to read of your doctor's new job. I still miss Dr Miller. who had the nerve to abandon me in January to marry and move to Wisconsin!
