Thanks JohnG.  Well I actually ordered it before he said that.  I wanted a class bowl for my Kitchenaid stand up mixer and found one on sale.  So....

Ushered for the symphony pops concert tonight. Really a lot of fun.

Victor Herbert's March of the Ztoys and Offenbach's Doll's Song were both highlights. Loved the song-along to a few carols.

Diane Penning, a soprano with a pronounced vibrato, sang (often quite well). There was a handbell choir, the Mastersingers and Santa Claus. All fun and festive.

Helped put me in the spirit.

Even if I'm far from getting everything done. People may get their presents by Epiphany.

I don't exchange too many gifts.  Stuff for the grand nephews, a family gift for my sister's family and stuff for my parents.  My friends and I generally go out for dinner together instead of exchanging gifts. I like that

I have no interest in STAR WARS.

Mom gives me money so I get a gift with it, this year a watch.

And the cats get a gift for me

and I get a gift or two for me.

I'm watching the cast on Jimmy Kimmel.   I didn't think I had any interest, but I'm remembering how much I loved the first three.  I didn't see the prequels.  But I really do want to see this

My PEO chapter sold chocolate covered pecan clusters. So I have a few bags that I will likely give to neighbors and such
