I'm a third generation. I've been a PEO since I was 18 but haven't been very active until the last few years. I'm vice president of my chapter now

I can't tell you what it really stands for, but it's an international philanthropic educational organization. We focus on education for women, lots of scholarship funds etc. Cottey College in Nevada Mo. is a PEO college.

Well I am shedding myriad responsibilities in January I have submitted my resignation to Council, stepping down from my post as head of social ministry and turned over the responsibility of drawing up the lay readers schedule . with my Pastor's support I also instituted a new policy of " no volunteers = no coffee hour". After a couple of Sundays with no coffee and cake and socializing between services the volunteer sign up sheet was full

So now I make sure that the supplies are all there and the coffee machines are started but I do not do all the setting up, serving and cleaning up any more
