In honor of the wise men's visit, I had camel for lunch in the form of a burger.

I think I'd pass on that. Where does one find camel meat for sale?  I did try a slice of that marvelous cake you sent me.  Even battered by USPS, it was still quite deelish!

John, I received a package from you, also!  Thank you so much!  I'm going to eat the edible item tomorrow.  The one I got does look good, and not too battered.

It was fun.  I clicked tickets.  It was for Harlequin Productions, and they don't tear tickets, anymore.  The people at the doors just confirm that the tickets are for the correct performance, then they count the number of patrons wth clickers.

Not "Making Love" - Let's Make Love - and she didn't drag me out because of THAT movie - it was the sneak preview that was with it - Come Dance With Me starring Brigitte Bardot.  The drag out occurred when Miss Bardot's boyfriend undid the top of her nightie and put his hand on her boob. 

Oh my!

but for a moment there, i was experiencing the mental image of BK being dragged out of MAKING LOVE in the 1980's years after he had made FIRST NUDIE MUSICAL in the 1970's.   

That's EXACTLY what I was thinking, too!

We have had much rain today and under a Flash Flood watch until Monday afternoon....so we may be swimming down the street.

On the way home fom my friends' house, I was behind a truck spreading salt on the road.

It was pretty good...not their best, but certainly not the worst.  Christian Doyle was in it and was his usual good self.

Christian's grandmother passed away last week.  She was the last of the legends of musical theater in the 50's and 60's here in Tacoma.

I think a Kritzerland Show of novelty songs would be most entertaining....including of course those in the title of today's notes.

Those two songs delighted my brother and sisters and I during the summer of 1958....and we sang them over and over and ran to the radio when they were played.

What a coinkydink!  "Tan Shoes & Pink Shoelaces" was actually sung in the show that I saw tonight.  Two references on the same day of a song that I had never heard of.

My sister and I are going to see the new STAR WARS movie tomorrow morning at 11.  Hopefully, any freezing will be melted by the time we go.

Vixdad and the Vixter had mini scull differences but we treated ourselves to new specs just the same.  Costco is so reasonable that the prive fir three exams and three sets of specs was less than I paid for just me the last time I went to LensCrafters

My sil came in Christmas Eve kissed and hugged everyone and then proceeded to cough up a lung and say she  has been unable to shake her bronchial infection for the past month

The Magnificent Seven is on PBS right now.  I went to IMDb to look at the listing and as I typed the title, the auto-fill listing that came up first is for a remake to be relased in September 2016.
