This sounds like about half of the Facebook Groups I belong to DR ELMORE.

Ms Aljadeff is the worst. Misinformation and endless sound clips.

You didn't need to mention her name. I knew who you meant.

Well, not that I needed to be indulging in another thoroughly lazy day, but that's what this one became.

Back to real life tomorrow, and I mean that.  I've got several things I want to accomplish before New Year's Eve, and it all simply has to happen.

But man, this lazy day -- again -- felt wonderful.

Doing some more reading, and I'm about to return to that.  As soon as I warm up some good leftovers.

Also took a quick tour of the I LOVE LUCY Blu-rays.  They're wonderful, and for vintage TV on exceptionally well planned and well executed home video releases, I'd equate them -- so far -- with those of THE TWILIGHT ZONE and THE DICK VAN DYKE SHOW.  We are well served by these quality affairs.

I stuck the season two set into my cart just to keep an eye open for any good price fluctuations.  Which probably won't happen for a while, but that's all right.

I don't know if the Lawn Guylanders are included in this forecast, but we're supposedly getting some icy stuff on late Monday night and Tuesday morning.  Looks to be clear again after that, though.

I just realized I hadn't checked my email in a very long time.  Over 700 emails to clean out.   But I found a lovely card from Elmore, thank you Sir!

I'm up, I'm up - almost ten and a half hours of very necessary sleep.  And really random and weird dreams.

I used to read every issue of Gramophone religiously.  In fact, there were about eight magazines that I would buy every month at the newsstand.  I even think I subscribed to Gramophone at one point.

That would be a great TOD.  What magazines do you, or did you, read religiously?

Mine would change depending on which lifetime we're talking about, which is probably true for most people.

I jut watched a Hercule Poirot mystery Cards on the Table," because Honeysuckle Weeks of FOYLE'S WAR was in it. As an added bonus, so was Zoë Wanamaker. I love her!

Tonight I will watch a BBC mystery "Still Life: A Three Pines Mystery."

Nice!  I have some up in my bedroom for late night TV watching when the sound needs to be turned up.

George I cannot post the link on my iPad  but look up HP sauce.. It's a wonderful piquant sauce as commin in British households as catsup is in US homes it can sometimes be found in  fairway or other enlightened markets. But recently I have taken to ordering it by the case from Amazon

I just came across this post.  I'll look it up when I get home. :)
