I then decided to read all of today's e-mails that I hadn't bothered to read today.  I now wish that I hadn't read them.  I received an e-mail informing me that one of my oldest and dearest friends, Patsy, died Tuesday afternoon.

Tom, I'm so sorry.  My condolences on the loss of your friend.

Thank you, George.  I appreciate that.

And then there were the four hundred idiots on Facebook who shared the shocking news of Annette Funicello's death.  Well, maybe not shocking since it happened three YEARS ago.

If it wasn't storming out, I think I would go out and get something to eat.

Nope...finishing ALNM.  There was a major glitch during "A Weekend In the Country" when I played it on one DVD player, but not when I played it on my Blu-ray player.  I'll have to check it on another DVD player to see if it still glitches.  Hopefully, it won't.

Otherwise, it looks pretty good for a DVD made from a VHS tape from 1990.

I wonder why that version of ALNM has never been for sale, even at the PBS store?  It was shown on GREAT PERFORMANCES.

No, I worked concessions for an evening of jazz in the Washington Center Black Box.

T.O.D.

I have never eaten Indian food.  I should probably try one of those Indian buffets, so that I could pick and choose what I wanted to try.

I don't think there is any ethnic food I don't like, but there are certain individual foods that I don't like or won't try.  I do stay away from Vietnamese restaurants, but mostly because the overpowering smell of lemon grass makes me sick to my stomach, but I have liked some of their food.

Yes.  I didn't go in to watch, but I could hear it out in the lobby.
