Well, you've read the notes, the notes spoke of Kritzerland at Sterling's 64, and now it is time for you to post until the 64 cows come home.

Good morning, all! I slept poorly, and i believe this is affecting my mental health. I am quite unhappy today. I will do the laundry, try to get some work accomplished on my taxes, and try to stay out of mischief.

I dreamed that I was working at Barnes & Noble with a Miami classmate Karen Eifert. I was having major problems with my timecard.

I also remember something of a dream in which writer Stephen Cole appeared.  I have no idea now what it might be about.

I had a dream where people were arguing and coming to blows over perfect rhymes vs. slant rhymes and near rhymes, and I'm pretty sure Stephen Cole was in that one too.   I forget what side of the issue he was on in the dream.

Good morning, all.

The dusting of snow we got is almost all leaf-blown off the driveway.  This weekend we shan't be having it so easy, for the party will be over then.

Coffee!

My dream at first involved my placing certain objects in certain areas of some outdoor scene or venue, which was supposed to be done at more or less correct intervals (of time).  But I was kind of getting ahead of myself and decided to wait a bit and start over.  There was other stuff involved which is gone from my memory.  As I began to wake up, the opening statement of Mahler's First played once, clear as a bell, in my head, and I realized those note intervals (the descending fourths over the sustained A) were exactly what the first part of the dream represented.  Which I then immediately doubted, as dreams twist and turn, but even now it makes a weird kind of sense.  I'm still trying to capture what the rest of the dream was, and I can't shake the feeling it related somehow to one the night before, or had the same tone.

Monday morning greetings!  It's ver-r-r-r-ry cold here in SW Ohio.  Richard and I are going to a class at the public library this afternoon on how to use their research databases.  I used to teach a class like this in Dayton...

Do you think it has changed much since you taught the class?
